Coach Responsibilities | |
Background ChecksPlease note that all coaches require a police background check. Print off the attached letter, take it to the RCMP detachment, and request a background check. There is no charge for this. Alternatively, your can go to mybackcheck.com. This service costs $25 for an online background check. Checks can be done for many different sports associations. Use CLA (Canadian Lacrosse Association), ALA (Alberta Lacrosse Association), and Wheatland. Please ensure that your background check is submitted to your coaching coordinator by May 1. |

Proxy FormsAll coaches are required to submit a Proxy Form to be used at the 2017 ALA AGM. This is very important to ensure that rural lacrosse has a say in how our sport is governed in Alberta. Download the form, and email it to the Association President. |

Player / Parent Contracts We once again encourage all coaches to make use of the Player / Parent Contract to set expectations for conduct and sportsmanship. |
